What is error correction level?

Error correction allows a QR code to be read even if partially damaged or obscured. L (7%), M (15%), Q (25%), H (30%). Higher levels make the QR code more resilient but also denser. Use M or Q for most use cases.

How much data can a QR code hold?

Up to 4,296 alphanumeric characters or 7,089 numeric characters. The more data you encode, the denser (and harder to scan) the QR code becomes. For URLs, keep them short using a URL shortener if needed.

Can I change the QR code colors?

Yes. Use the Foreground and Background color pickers. For reliable scanning, maintain high contrast — dark foreground on light background works best. Avoid light-on-dark combinations.
